My version of the Spirit detective Yusuke Urameshi. Yusuke isn't my favorite character from the series but he's a very close second to Hiei. Had a blast with this painting and putting my own spin on a classic character. Drawn in Clip Studio Paint and colored in Photoshop.

Just started so I’m not sure how it’s going to do, I’m already pleased with the authenticity and Yusuke’s personality is on point but I can’t wait to see what they do with my babies Kurama and Hiei

This coming Netflix adaptation of (YU YU HAKUSHO) has gotten my attention. Hopefully they'll stay faithful to the original masterpiece of the classic anime series.

Patrolling the city at night.

Lyra and Niriz are on the hunt for intentionally evil beings ready to pounce on their unsuspecting victims. Ghouls, demons and other creatures roam the night.

Wanted to draw a little scene where Niriz sneaks behind to spook Lyra. With their pact she's unable to sense him because of the 7 pointed faerie star tattoo on her neck he gave her. It also allows him to sense where her location is and when she's in danger.

Lyra is a small paranormal detective, keeping the peace between the supernatural and the living while also solving the deaths of the human world as a regular unorthodox detective by day. NIriz is always popping up at her autopsy room to give a voice to the spirits.

Niriz was a general for the underworld demoted to a succubus after releasing a batch of human souls that were sent to the underworld by accident. He was forced to work for a murderous witch until Lyra was the target. She knew the right words for him to end his contract with the witch while making a new one with her. He may still be stuck under another contract, but at least his work was no longer hurting those undeserving.
